The island nation of Bermuda had ridden the equity of “so much more” and the nostalgia of its popularity in the 60s and 70s as “the place” of the rich and famous for quite some time, and had begun to see a decline in visitors in recent decades, and decided it was time for a change. The new campaign, “Out there, where you belong” is meant to re-stoke nostalgia in boomers, as well as to highlight the fact that Bermuda is in fact more than meets the eye. The selective color and the new logo is meant to build upon the aura of mystery surrounding the infamous Bermuda Triangle but to do so in a way that promotes curiosity over fear.
